Yiftach Ramon<\/b><\/h3>

Chairman<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

The third son of the Ramon family, Yiftach, has been involved in the foundation’s activities since its inception and in the past year has served as an instructor in the Ma’amrim program at the Ramon Observatory. In the IDF, Yiftach held several command positions, and was discharged as a navigation officer. He worked in the Scouts movement as a senior leader of the Ramat Chen troop in Ramat Gan, the troop where he grew up, and continued to a leadership role – as a coordinator of activities. He held a managerial position in the family business – where he focused on developing and expanding the nursery. Tal Ramon<\/b><\/span><\/h3>

Board Member<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3><\/div><\/div>
Tal is the second son of the Ramon family and has been involved in the foundation’s activities since its inception. Tal served in the Israeli Air Force in a special unit called Squadron 157, holding several command positions. After his discharge, he worked as an instructor in the United States for the Jewish Agency. Upon returning to Israel, he studied at the Rimon School of Music in the composition and writing track. By the age of 26, Tal had released two albums that received rave reviews. Orna Saban<\/strong><\/h3>

Orna has been the Ramon family\u2019s closest friend for decades. She is one of the co-founders of the Ramon Foundation and its most active volunteer.\u00a0<\/p>

Orna was high school gym teacher in Holon. She has a BA in Physical Education from Wingate Institute. Eytan Stibbe<\/strong><\/h3>

Member of the Board of Directors<\/strong><\/p>

Eytan Stibbe is the second Israeli Astronaut and the first Israeli on the International
Space Station. He was a crew member of the first commercial crew, AX-1, to the ISS.
The Rakia mission was created to support the space mission in collaboration between
the Ramon Foundation the Israeli Space Agency in the Ministry of Innovation, Science
and Technology, the Ministry of Education and more, for the advancement of Israeli

Eytan is the Founding partner of Vital Capital investment fund which aims to improve
the situation of underprivileged populations in developing countries, with focus on
Africa. As a pioneer in the field of Impact Investing, Stibbe is a member of the World
Economic Forum, in addition, he serves as a member of the board of directors of
several NGOs dedicated to arts, culture and education.
Eytan served as a fighter pilot in the Air Force for 43 years,\u00a0from 1976 to 2019 of which
seven years in service and the rest in reserve. During the command of Ilan Ramon on

Modi Keren<\/strong><\/h3>

Board Member<\/strong><\/p>

Modi served in the the Israeli Air Force for twenty three years. In the last few years he has held positions of commander of fighter helicopters squadron. He is now an ELAL pilot.<\/span><\/p>

Modi has a BA in Philosophy and State Science from Bar Ilan University, and an MBA from Ben Gurion University. Dr. Shimrit Maman<\/b><\/h3>

Board Member<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3><\/div><\/div>
Dr. Maman is a senior staff scientist in the Homeland Security Institute and director of the Earth and Planetary Image Facility (EPIF), both at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Her research deals with the application of satellite technologies (remote sensing, GIS, OSINT) to environmental challenges and climate change. She is an integral part of the research team leading BGUSAT, Israel’s first research nanosatellite. She also serves as a UN-SPIDER expert and heads the Israeli Regional Support Office of the United Nations Platform for Space-based Information for Disaster Management and Emergency Response. Moreover, she was appointed by UNOOSA as a mentor in the SPACE4WOMEN Network.\u00a0<\/div>

One of the founders of the international law firm Zisman, Aharoni, Gayer & Co. He is also a partner and an owner of the U.S. law firm ZAG\/S&W and of the Chinese law firm ZAG\/JunZeJun. \u00a0As one of Israel\u2019s foremost commercial lawyers, Mr. Zysman\u2019s is an expert in the fields of hi-tech and internet, life science, commercial and capital markets law, international transactions, communications, and real estate. He is one of Israel\u2019s hall of fame basketball players. A former captain of the national youth team, he was a prominent player in the Israeli Premier league for 17 years. Mr. Zysman is the founder and former head of the Israeli National Basketball Players\u2019 Union.<\/span><\/p>

Shmuel Zysman is an active volunteer in many community-oriented organizations: Friends of Maccabi Association, Friends of the Ezra Lemarpeh Association (of Rabbi Firer`s foundation).
